arent the engines in the boot?

Even if its a replica, you would have more room back there

I love my Mitsi's, that's for sure. But COME ON!!! Why would you put one of those in a Lambo replica?

Would be like putting a rotary into a Cobra replica...

what engine would you suggest instead?

have to go with a V8 i'd say. a V6 just wouldn't come close to the sound of a lambo engine

That engine certainly aint going to sound like an Italian Screamer!

I would have gone for an 8... or high performance 6.

mmm, nice power plant baby!

Yep, I would go with a V8 too, probably with a low rise supercharger. I have no idea what transmission you would use though, but would mount it the way it should be mounted (as in the middle of the car, opposed to that 4G sitting on top of the rear axle).

As for a Cobra, there is only one way you could get away with putting a Japanese engine in one, and that is with either a Toyota or Nissan V8.

LOL! A bit of lust for the cousin.

(damn Bens big penis, changing my lines)

Would a v8 sound like it though??? i tailed one a couple of months back and they have a high pitched whine when reving. Similar to the ferarri's.

I reckon a v8 soarer engine with large twin exhausts, and a good intake would be pretty close.
You can't use an american v8, totally different sound, the jap v8 with mods is the closest.

Have you ever heard one? In real life?

If you think ANY 2 litre 4 pot sounds ANYTHIING like a Lambo, you truly are either tone deaf, or deluded. Considering you are talking about your own MR2, I would go the latter     ;) ;)

there is a distinct difference, despite any efforts you make to make your 4 banger sound like an 8.
