Falken or Hankook

Post by HiRAEdd »

Just because I know how much everybody loves a thread on tyres, here's another :)

Due to budget ($800 - $900) and size requirements (205/45 17), I have narrowed down my choices to the following two tyres:

Falken ZE912 - http://www.falken.com.au/tyres/passenger-ZE912.html
Hankook Ventus Sport K104 - http://www.hankooktireusa.com/product/t ... asp?pid=85

Would anyone care to put forth a vote for one or the other? :)

Cheers,

Gavin

I ended up going for Falken ZE912 (got them for $220 each) and dropping down from 215/45 17 to 205/45 17. Really happy with the tyres and the drop in size has eliminated 95% of the rubbing I was getting so I'm very happy :) It also took my variance from stock from 13.9mm down to 4.9mm.

I've had Falken 215/45/17s before, can't remember the model sorry but they were some of the best tyres i've had. Shat all over the Nankangs that replaced them (not surprisingly)
