dvd video while driving

Post by J »

i've recently purchased and installed a new JVC double din dvd player. Only thing is with most new dvd players that are being made is video will not play if the handbrake is down. So preety much i get audio but no video whilst driving but can watch when the handbrake is on.

Is there anyway i can wire it up so the player is fooled into thinking my handbrake is on when its really off? Has anyone done this before, or have a dvd player that is like that?

Wire up a simple switch, easy as that. Then (if for example your GF drives your car too) you can enable it for yourself, but disable it for her.
