Post by yano »

Just wondering if anybody's had their old rims powder coated. If so, what was the price and how did they turn out? Will having a chrome lip effect it at all??

mine are getting powdercoated.

Its somewhere near livo/padstow. the shop is called MR CLEAN (if i remember). they cost $85 per wheel, which include sand blasting, powder coating and how ever much gloss you want. theres quite the selection of colours aswell from matt to satin to very high gloss rainbow. I did a search on google and came upon the WRX club who recommend these guys and from the few pictures on there they come out great.

BUT you have to remove the tyres if they are on and remove all wheel wieghts or they will not accept the wheels.

hope that helps
