dont wanna spend more than $100 to make this so i spent 2 afternoon to make this. Only cost me like $20 It feels like leather and look like leather but its not.

anyway, the color complement the body color.

hmmm, i think the hard part would be stretching it evenly over the area.

I took the original piece out and trace it on the fake leather sheet, cut it out and fit it in. I spent 30 mins trying to make it stretch nicely but it just wont. i gave up and sew it on.

for the sewing part, i took the new leather sheet and put in over the area. flip it and sew the excess part of the leather sheet to the opposite side. just keep doing it and it will stretch really nicely and fit like a glove!

just a note, if u trace the original pieces onto the leather sheet. The amount of excess would be very little and sometimes it wont cover properly. So i advise to have more excess on the outer edge.

overall it was a nice, time killing DIY

ive done mine like that as well a year ago, but instead of fake leather i used microsuede, pretty easy with suede!
