Do HID bulb dim over time?

Do HID bulb dim over time?

Subject says it all. Just wondering cause I swear mine were brighter when I got them fitted but now, several years on, the beam on the road looks dimmer than standard "yellow" bulbs. Angle of the beam hasn't changed.

The bulbs dont last forever you should replace them

on the topic of HID's which ones did we get in the last group buy?

wanna be sure so that they work alright, heard some of the cheaper HID's can possibly fry your electronics.
