New Apec Rims

Post by Tippin »

Got some Apec Husky 18" rims today, they are deep dish with polished spokes and chrome inserts. Really pleased with how they look, i think they suit the car perfect. Maybe some tire shine wouldn't go astray and also looking at spraying the calipers 8)

You are correct on that mate, among other popular wheels shops.

Most of the wheels sold are copies under a manufacturers name. My LENSO type m's arent real lensos which i found out from my mech. If you look from behind the rim, most wheels have a stamp imprinted on the wheel itself, genuine wheels are finely stamped with very sharp lines in the lettters whilst fake copies are more smoother and are uneven. Thats why you get them at a cheaper price because they are made in thailand or somewhere else.

I just got new wheels kinda like yours. They look nice, but are a bit of a pain to keep looking nice. You need to make sure you wipe away all the water when you wash them just like the rest of your bodywork to keep them shiny.
