Speedo Drive Gear

my speedo stopped working due to my drive gear in the gearbox being shredded and this has happened twice anyone know what could cause this?

The drive gear is run off a gear on the diff. If you've ever crunched a gear & sent some syncro floating aobut in the gearbox oil, it could damage the ring gear on the diff drive. Ever changed your gearbox oil?

Where can I buy the speedo drive gear on the diff so I can press it onto a wavetrac diff.
