Body or battery

Post by coxy240 »

hi
i just bought myself a FTO and the cd player works when it wantsso i decided to dive in and have a look, im not a stranger to wireing cd players so didnt think i would have aproblem. when i took out the head unit there were wires all over the place and none of the speaker wires were in the rite place. so i decided to take everything out and start from scratch includeing instaling 2 sub/box that im going to make myself. my question is...........

is it better to earth the head unit to the body or back to the battery never done it to the battery befor and didnt know if this would be a problem. would be great if somone could let me know what the best thing to do is.

many thanks
