Just over $100 for a set of 4.

Nengun I believe.
Don't need to replace them just yet, car had a full service, minus the transmission before I bought it.

That's on odd way of measuring, LOL

Mine isn't registered, I drive it to the mech tomorrow hoping for a frst go blue slip.
So Won't know mileage until then.

I will be doing full service and replacement with new o2 sensors and injectors.

Don't forget those spark plugs are irridium and that price includes postage from Japan.

This is all planned stuff, So far only spent $55 on replacement Gearbox oil :P

Stil have to pay the fiance back for buying half the car for me, need to sell one of my other cars...

Drove the car to the mechs this morning, first time I've driven an RVR.
Man it feels weird being in a 4x4 position, but with power at your toes.
That thing MOVES!
But yeah, that tiny turbo is a big limiter, could feel where it gave out without looking at the boost gauge.
And mines an auto...

What's your manual gbox feel like? You also have a heap of mods though...

oh icic. haha your fiance wouldnt mind when u gonna pay her back! just give her roses and a nice candlelight dinner and she will totally forget abt it lol.

yea feels weird when u switch to rvr from a FTO. i just really enjoy the space around me as compare to fto. yea powerwise its really good! and bear in mind it weighs 1.5 ton lol!! however, current boost level only set at 10 psi and 14psi. other rvr are running 20psi~! I NEED A TUNE!

hmmm the manual gearbox... low gear ratio for 1-4 so acceleration without turbo is quite decent. however gear 5 seems to be high gear ratio. too high i think. i cannot shift to gear 5 when im driving 60km/hr @ gear4. if i do, the car will vibrate. it feels like when u did a wrong shift from gear 2 to gear 5.
Gonna change my transmission oil as well. what did u put in urs?

most of my mods was done by previous owner lol. im just reaping his crops lol!

Yeah, I'm going dual boost controller.
10psi for street, 20psi for race
Only after I get everything done to it.
Also only going for a small td05 16g, not the large.
The autos whilst good, I don't want to have to floor it everytime to get power.

My gearbox is auto, so had to put tqm-st in it.
For your manual I'd go with vmx80... but perhaps have a hunt around on evocrew, they do have some decent threads.

What's your gearbox part number number?
Might be worth downloading the manual for online...

By the way, do you have the fold out rear seat?
How you can make it into a bed basically..
Mine didn't and it was one of the reasons I wanted the RVR

sounds like what i was aiming for as well. 2 setting, 1 for daily and 1 for occasional break neck enjoyment.

just a qns. i got HKS EVC boost controller installed. I know boost controller controls the amount of boost but does it affect the mapping used when switch from Boost A to Boost B?

yea will search around the evocrew forum. where to find the link to download the manual? i cant find it. have to check my gearbox no. tmr.

yea mine have the fold out chair. look under the rear seats, there is a plastic ring connected to a rope. Pull the ring and lift the rear seat up and half of the seat will fold forward. There is another lever at the side of the rear seat which let u fold the backrest.

haha one of my reason to get the RVR as well !

No, boost controller simply controls solenoid to either keep the actuator open or closed longer
The map settings need to be done with tune. and good tune place will know what to do and will take care of that.
The amount of fuel will be controlled via the quantitiy of air read by the map or maf, and so from there it can be adjusted.
also a lambda sensor is good if the car doesn't already have one...

Oh, you have stock ecu, so yes, you do have 2.
perhaps replace them...

Nah, my seat doesn't have the split. :( I got the one piece.
Sucks.
Have to contact kempys and get them to send me one from NZ.
