Black on red?

Post by pete_gpx »

Hmm, I'm considering following a drastically different styling path for my new FTO then I had previously considered. I was thinking about purchasing a carbon fibre bonnet and boot then possibly having the roof sprayed black. This is on a red FTO with white wheels.

I'm just undecided on whether it would look far too ricey and over the top. The indecision mainly arises from not actually being able to see the finished product before I commit to doing it.

Does anyone have any pictures of any red on black FTOs? Another concern is that the red, black and white combination would all clash too harshly...

Argh, I need better photoshop skills.

Anyone have an opinion or crazy photoshop renderings that could help me out?

It wouldnt work that well with the white wheels. The carbon bonnet and black boot would be ok. But if you go for the black roof and keep the white wheels, the colours would clash too much? I think there is a pic on ftooc with a guy with that combo. Have a search through the pics and vids section

this is totally irrelevant but is it me or does the NSX side mirrors look pretty much the same as our FTO ones?
