The stock bar is 40cm from the floor to the top at the centre of the bar (measured it before I hacked it up). I measured that last night just before i took the picture and its sitting at 45 cm. Not sure if it is sitting quite straight there, the middle might have to come up just a tad. If I do that, itll be about 7cm lower maybe. Happy to hear opinions as to how much lower it should be. Ill be takingit to the fibreglass shop tomorrow with any luck.

Imported it from Japan especially. It got cut in half before it left Japan. Had to get it joined again when it got here. Im eyeing off a couple more over there that are really cheap at the moment. Want to get them over here WITHOUT having to cut them though. It might be shipping container time.....

dwayne i'd watch how high or low you go especially if your putting skirts on your car. you would want it to match as much as possile to either stock sideskirts or aftermarket.

ive got a set of DCuatro sides going on. I think they lower the side by about 5cm as well (some sort of confirmation would be good), so should be about right im thinking. Good point though. I might have to arrange a trial fitting before the bits are blended.

im reading that page as i want to install foggies in my bumper as it did not come with the factory option foggies.

            ??? wheres the answer??

it fits fine. only thing is you have to mod your wiring. my oem series II indicators dont just plug into the sI indicator plugs. you have to cut the wires and solder the new indicators -> stock wires. same applies for fog lights.

then theres the dilema of park lights. seriesII has parklights in the headlights. so if you buy a sII front bar you either will have to buy SII headlights OR run no parkers OR buy seperate parker lights and mount them somewhere on your new facelift bar.

price for sII bars are roughly $300+ from carmate.

Remember the carmate ones dont always fit so good. There have been complaints. Has anyone had good experiences with them???
