buy the xr6 turbo and swap, would be cheaper, but still not worth it.

    Nice price

I'm assuming it's one of those "for the right price I will sell" sales.
Which makes that asking price understandable.

Im afraid there is a rude shock coming with that price. Ive been there. (the Galant I built cost me 30K at the time (circa 1995), sold for 7K in the end). You think that someone will appreciate the expense you have gone to, the attention to detail, no expense spared. Nobody ever does though. It a beautiful car and he's done a great job on it, but in the end will be lucky to get 20K. Better off keeping it. I should have kept mine.

He is a member on here.. I remember seeing the topic when he was putting on those brakes..

But too lazy to search ...

      And correct Dwayne ...

      1) You will never get the money back, or time from a project car. Only what someone is willing to pay
      2) Yes you should have kept that Galant.. Sorry, had to add that...

And lets face it, for 50k, there are a lot of better performing second hand cars you can pick up. Regardless of stereo (which is a sweet set up), but you will just get raped for noise pollution anyway.. Modified cars are a niche market, unless it is something that will retain value like Shelby Cobra, GT500 Mustang, Ford GTO's and the likes of all those rarer cars. I don't see FTO's making that list in the short, or long term to be honest..
I just had to add it ......

Also, those are restored cars, not modified cars (any modifications on them tend to lower their value). If you get the model right, a restored car will make money. A modified car will never appreciate in value. And from what ive seen, a turbo mod actually makes it harder to sell than a stock FTO as its then no longer standard and most mechanics will not want to touch it. This scares most potential buyers away. Is one of the reasons why I will be staying NA.
      2) Yes you should have kept that Galant.. Sorry, had to add that...
