Give me documented proof that it has been done, tell me how much it cost in total, and I'll ROFL :D
As per my previous post - documented proof of a Convertible AWD FTO "Roadster" (Still unfinished beacuse the workshop has had to concentrate on projects for paying customers)

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topi ... ster&mid=0

The Evo floorpan is slightly too short so they've had to extend it at the boot .. but in hindsight you could just leave enough of the FTO floorpan in the back end so that you don't have to fabricate it..

:supergay:

You saying it *can't* be done? LOL

Anything can be done with time and money. people used to say man couldn't walk on the moon. Look how that worked out haha.

As I said, it is in no way shape or form economically viable to do, but when that roadster is done I can't wait to see you eat humble pie XD

I think you're all missing the point. Of course it could be done; if the US army decided they needed an AWD supercharged FTO, they'd have one before the end of this week.

The point I'm making is that perhaps the fact that there are no AWD supercharged FTOs around says something about the cost / benefit ratio of the proposition...

I see your point .. we should join the army, and slowly work our way up the ranks .. until one day, we finally get to the level where we can order the motor pool to build an AWD FTO! and then there will be much rejoicing!

Random post.

IN other news... does anyone have a documented example of a fully working 4wd FTO yet?

IF so, you obviously must have enough cash to track it at nuremburg... in which case, please do - and post your time.

sigh, i'd love to see it done though. i think we all cream of the idea of a forced induced, high arse revving engine with 4wd, yet have the sexy looks of the fto.

this way we'd win respects as a sleeper car and the girls to sleep with

Their spoilers kind of need to be big, at the velocity those cars reach, every bit of downforce counts, especially on that kind of track surface.
