Toyo R888 / Federal 595

Has any one used the Toyo R888's tyres at all?
I am thinking about giving them a go insted of the 595's

Nah mate, but I've got Toyo T1Rs on at the moment and they're brilliant. Definitely don't think you could go too far wrong with anything toyo.

how is toyoR888 compared to federal 595?
and seems like 595 have 4versions?

I couldn't get the R888's in time so I went with the 595 RSR's.

Friend of mine with an integra, EXTREMELY modded, used a set of 888s, only lasted him 3 months of punishment before they were down over 50%
He said he'd be sticking with Federals simply due to life of the tyre being far superior.....
But I dont really know his driving style...

3 months is pretty poor, are they much cheaper than the 595's?

If not then I see no reason to not stick with the Federals.

For the 595SS's I paid about $180 per corner I think..

The 595RS (Semi's) are about $340 a corner.

Thats in 18s.

sh*t, there are sets of Falken RT 615's on ebay for $899 8O

Thats 4 tyres (235 x 40 x 18!)

Thats $225 a tyre!
