QLD Cruise: Sunday, 6th June. Mt Glorious. Be there!!

As most of you would be aware, we were organising a cruise, then it sort of ran out of steam, which tends to happen a lot, but here's all the details and it would be great to put some names to faces and have a day out.

so, details:

We are going to cruise to Mt Glorious then on to Wivenhoe dam. Why? because there were more complains about Tambourine than Mt Glorious.

local meeting spots:
Southside: Sunnybank Maccas @ 9:15am
Central: BP/Hungry Jacks - Corner Bowen Bridge Rd, Butterfield St @9:45am (just a suggestion)
Northside: I don't know, you guys work it out.
Toowoomba etc: You guys can work it out yourself as well.

Everyone Meet at Ferny Grove Train Station @ 10:30am
Once everyone's there, we'll take a vote to see if we are having a BBQ at Wivenhoe or not, if we are, I'm sure there's a super market around. Leave as soon we sor that out. Heading to Mt Glorious, which is about a 30 min drive

Once we get to Mt Glorious I don't know about you guys, but I'm getting lunch there.
We can also look for some photo spots at a lookout or two if anyone is interested/know where they are.

Then head to Wivenhoe Spillway, about 45min drive
We can drive on to look for a photo spot and/or a BBQ area.

That's the Plan for the day, without a BBQ or getting too lost we are probably looking at finishing up by about 3, which leaves everyone plenty of time to get home before they turn into a pumpkin. But if anyone is interested we can also organise to go out for drinks or dinner after.

Top effort on getting the ball rolling again. I'm honestly excited about this. I'll have to check in with Garth (RallyMad) to see what he's up to, as he doesn't get on the forums often.

We will probably just make it to the train station at 10.30, so meet at my place at 8.30, Matt?

if you want a longer drive we can make a detour to Nebo before Mt Glorious (adds about hr-ish, especially if we get lost or try for a photo shoot), or we can just keep driving around Wivenhoe (it's a 2.something hr trip around it).
But I wouldn't recommend making it too far north, considering it's going to be a fair drive for Southsiders/Gold Coast ppl.
we can change all the details once we meet up, the most important thing is to have everyone at the Ferny Grove train station on time so we can go from there.

This is true, cruises generally go on longer then expected silverGPX, don't worry it'll be good enough.
