Are you downloading Blu ray versions? They will chew up your limit in no time. They start from at least 2gig each, up to 10gig or more.

I disagree. Once you've watched a few blu rays on a good tv with a good sound system (such as mine) then go to someone elses house and watch a dvd, you can really see the difference.

It's true, you probably wouldn't see an immediate difference, but you do notice it when you go back to the older format. I don't bother buying old films on blu ray, you don't really get any value from that but certainly new movies look fantastic on blu ray.

i can notice the difference
it just doesnt make that big a deal to me
if i want to see amazing visuals i would go outside
if i wanted to here amazing audio i would put a cd of my music through the speakers or go out to a concert

although if im watching tv ill watch it in HD or if i rent a movie ill get a bluray
but if i have to go out of my way e.g. dl something way bigger ill prefer lower quality just because it so much easier.

im the same with computers though. everyone in my family has there fancy dual core and quad core computers running their fancy windows 7

i prefer my ancient single core computer with xp because it does what i need to do. i could never justify having myself an amazing computer.
if someone plays games a lot or does something to do with programing etc i can understand them having a fast computer
but its just useless to most people imo

brad, if you multitask a lot, then it's fair enough to have at least 1GB of ram and a high clock rate cpu, so there's not too much lag.

i listen to music, watch movies, do uni work, use the internet

pretty what most people do i assume

what kind of multi tasking would take people ages?

i imagine if someone used a lot of adobe programs as well they would need a fairly fast computer

Also, windows 7 has some pretty fancy features that make multitasking easier like manipulating multiple applications, windows, etc, as you are juggling between them or trying to get something(s) done or something like that
