You will need

17mm sockect with extention and 1/2inch drive ratchet
12mm ring spanner (ratchet spanner if you can will halve the time)
jack stands
pry bar or big screwdriver
17mm ring spanner
new sway bar bushes

1. Jack up car and place jack stands under sill panels (you cant have any weight on the sub frame or lower control arms)

2. remove wheel and sway bar link pin connected to strut as shown

3. Undo the 3 17mm bolts through subrame as shown (both sides)

4. This allows you to drop subframe just enough as to allow spanner in to undo 12mm bolt that holds down metal bracket keeping bush in place

5. remove old bush and replace with new (remembering to grease new bushes with grease that should be supplied)

6. Then bolt up subframe you may need to use pry bar or lever to help line up holes for bolts and bolt back up link pins and job done :D

this took me about an hr, but without a ratchet spanner or a very good knowledge of car it may take longer, only difficult part is undoing bush bracket bolt especially when on your back under car with no hoist

ther is no need to remove ball joints or gearbox crossmember or totally remove subframe its just needs to be dropped slightly thats all

Would this amount of droppage of the subframe be enough to put a new swaybar in?

Would it be possible if the pictures could be updated? I've been struggling with a few posts due to the images dissapearing.
Thank you
