I think it depends what you use your car for, eg. just casual driving, track days or all out racing?
I recently upgraded mine (cus mine were badly warped) and just drive my around on the road, but might one day run it on a track for kicks and giggles, so I decided to put RDA slotted on the front with Bendix CRT pads, and they are wonderful for everyday driving :) Work very well.. and I'm sure others on here will have more advice if you are looking for more performance type brakes.
