Got the call to go and collect the car at 6pm today. I turned up and they said "it'll need a new battery too".

f**k knows why they tell me this now. I tell them to put one in tomorrow but I can't pick the car up until Saturday.

Walk away empty handed again.

When I got there they said that the alternator is now kicking out a good 14.7 amps but I'll need a new battery.

I was like "why didn't you call me and tell me?" and he just looked at me like an :asshat:

So he's going to put on in today, then test the car to see if it fixes the issue.

He thinks it will, saying that now its kicking out good amps it should stabilize everything. He said the computer would stop working at around 9 volts so maybe that has something to do with it....we"ll see.

I'll report back on Saturday.
