New here with a 95 GPX Mivec from NZ FTO

Post by Miv3c »

hi there i am newish to the forums i have a 1995 Mitsubishi FTO GPX with the Mivec engine i got it in feb this year it was a really cheap deal though i had always wanted one of these cars since i got my licence so i hardly looked at it and brought it

when i got it home it was due for an oil change so did that i thought it had a big bore exhaust system minus the tips as it was loud but turns out it had a hole in the flange so got that repaired then on my way to my other house the alternator belt must have snaped off and i didnt realise till a week later when the dails where blinking and the car was stalling then broke down i brought a new battery thinking the battery was buggered then found i had no alternator belt i got that fixed and then gave the car a good clean and found out i found that i had rust holes in the wheel arches i have now got that repaired and are focusing on tidying it up next year when i have funds i have big plans for it

recently i have installed an HID kit which is in the photos below other mods i have planed are

leather seat covers
respray of vehicle
performance exhaust
coilovers
brake upgrade or over haul
