Ummm, what do I do with this?

Post by Bennoz »

So, I've ended up with this SR20 motor right....

Needed some work, I've just stripped her down & am about to replace rings & bearings, so it will effectively be a rebuilt SR20 short motor.

Question is, what the f**k do I do with it?! If Im gonna chuck it in a car for sh*ts & giggles, I reckon its gotta be an old E30 BMW.

That aside, does anyone know who wants to buy a rebuilt Sr20! Will let her go cheap :)

Oh & btw, I have a MASSIVE TURBO to get rid of or use with it!

This is the most logical answer....

What have you done with brad?
CHRISTIANITY: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Will come up with a price & PM you. Just checking Ebay, most full motors are around the $1500-$2000 mark. I can more than likely better that, depending on how much rings / bearings / timing kit etc costs me. Unless he wants it as is (in pieces.)

Last time I freighted something large down your way was a Legnum gearbox & it cost me about $150. So I'd say thats about the ballpark we'd be in.

Also FYI, the turbo is off a truck, so the exhaust housing is probably a bit large for car use. It also needs a kit through it.

I do however have another turbo (+manifold) that fits this motor. I'll dig up the specs on it. Its a KKK from memory.

I don't know that much about turbos but that would only work in a white car, wouldn't it?

Thats my plan in a year or two once the Mrs gets her arse back into work.

There was a Micra a couple of years ago with around 400BHP which won the Scottish Street Car of the Year award, blowing off a big ugly soap box racer down the quarter mile to win it.

He must have been pissed - to say the least
