FTO GPX *BRIS* $3500
Up for sale is my 1995 FTO GPX. It has a tiptronic transmission and runs very well. Firstly the reason I am selling it is because I am in a financially difficult position and I require money for uni text books. I have loved this car and am very sad to be forced to part with it.
The body is very straight, no dents or anything, and the engine is in really good condition. I am the second Australian owner and have only had the car since late November 2010. The previous owner was a female whom had it regularly serviced at joe and ricks at southport.
The odometer says 250 xxx km's, however most of these were highway driving as she used to commute from the goldcoast to brisbane for work at the airport. I can't stress enough how quiet and smooth the engine is for the amount of km's it has done!
It has always been run on 98 octane fuel, preferably vortex or ultimate but occasionally v-power.
It has always been running full synthetic or synthetic blend oil as a minimum.
Regularly serviced replacing fluids and such.
THE GOOD STUFF:
- Engine runs very well, can't hear tappets, smooth and flawlessly, not one break down or hiccup.
- Body is very straight
- Working Air-conditioning and climate control
- All electrics working
- HKS front bar
- Very smooth transmission, never experienced limp mode or anything
- Interior and seats are in good condition. There are some of the usual scratches to be expected but nothing excessive. No dash damage or fading.
- Brand new DBA rotors and ferrodo pads and brake fluid.
- Near new tyres
THE BAD STUFF:
- CV clicking if on hard lock to the left. Mechanic said it wasn't very expensive to fix, like 100 bucks.
- Stock wheels have bad rash and scratches but are structurally okay to drive.
- 1 of the wheels has a buckle that creates some vibration over 100 km/h.
- Paint is badly faded.
MODIFICATIONS:
- K&N pod filter
- Cannon exhaust
- HKS front bar
The only reason I am selling her is for financial reasons. I will provide a roadworthy for the interested buyer. Looking for a good home for her to go to who can restore her to her former glory. A fresh coat of paint and some new wheels it will look a million bucks.
