Re: What do you do?
I have been working in the video gaming industry for the last 7 years. Was a Game Designer when I joined, am a Product Manager now.
I did my Bachelor of Arts (English Literature hons) and Bachelor in Computer Applications before joining the industry.
Completed Masters in Marketing (Product Management) couple of years back.
Working on finishing PRINCE 2 certification and preparing my thesis to enter a PhD program currently.
Video gaming industry in Australia is almost non-existent
One thing I realized, more than the educational degrees and the theories you learn, your best and most valuable learning experience comes from real life scenarios at your work.

Re: What do you do?
I used to work for Teletech @ Pennant Hills, Telstra BigPond Dialup tech support department. 8 hours wearing a headset, taking calls, fixing connection/email problems, calls and breaks were timed, calls recorded and QA'ed. I was on the 3:30pm to 12:00am shift, a lot of drunk people calling that couldn't get connected to their favourite porn sites Wasn't a bad gig, good luck silver
