I'm pretty sure he's a professional troll. Look under the Sydney harbour bridge, he might be there.

I've just finished my first year as an Apprentice Mechanic specialising in Suspension and Steering. Confusing as f*ck, since I've had to chop and change between first and second year classes all year, but so far I've topped almost every topic I've done (came second in Electrical, got 99 and the b@stard who beat me got 100  ).

Thankfully working for a small business has its perks, and I'm getting a lot of sales experience at the same time as doing a lot of R&D work for Ultimate. Hopefully will have enough saved up at the end of my apprenticeship to open up my own shop in the Eastern Suburbs for 4wd's and performance cars 8) although it'll probably take a while longer before I can set up my own shop.
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

I have received my Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment) in the post and I have permission from my employer to early complete my apprenticeship.
I have started to apply for positions as a tradie.
I have been applying for positions all over the country; Thiess and Double R Heavy Equipment in Mudgee, Liebherr and Setco and Aggreko in the Hunter; several BHP and Rio Tinto mines in WA (upto 170k PA).
But the ones I want most so far.....
Cargotec, craddle crane mechanic @ Port Botany ($41ph)
C&L Sales and Services, aviation refuelling vehicles mechanic @ Melbourne Airport ($35ph to start then $^)

Fingers crossed :P
