'95 FTO TURBO Price Drop $3000 need gone

Hey guys,

Up for sale is my 1995 turbo'd FTO GR.

I bought the car in 2008 and to my understanding I am the 3rd owner. I have done several modifications to the car since I have owned it, here is the list (note some of this stuff was done by the previous owner, all engine work was done whilst in my possession):

Engine
T3/T4 hybrid turbo w/ custom piping
Custom intercooler + piping
BOV/Wastegate
Oil catch can
Exedy clutch
Forged Camarillo Pistons w/ bigger bore size
Uprated injectors out of a WRX
3" Apexi cat-back exhaust with an angled 5" cannon, 4" tip
G-reddy blue piggyback ECU
Drift Pod Filter

Suspension + wheels
Tein coilovers w/ fully adjustable ride height + camber
Whiteline strut brace
BSA 5 spoke chrome racing wheels wrapped in high end tyres (can't remember which brand exactly atm but they have a decent amount of tread, >80%)

Inside
Black leather seats front and rear,
momo steering wheel
momo gear shifter
recaro pedals
HUD
Custom dash, gauges, etc.
Rhino aftermarket immobiliser/alarm
Pioneer 6x9's and tweeters. Boston audio in the front. Kenwood 12" Sub + a kenwood 400w amp to drive it. I've taken the head unit out to use in my other car
Battery relocation kit (in the boot)

Outside
Voss front bar
Side Skirts (Unsure of brand)
Rear Bar (Unsure of brand)
Bolt on rear wing

There's definitely more things I can't remember right this second, the car has been off the road for a few years and it only did about 3000kms (if that) after the engine was reconditioned, bored out, strengthened and turbo'd.

There's a few bad points about the car but they are mainly cosmetic:

Small scratch/dent in the roof from a portable carport collapsing on it (it broke the tree's fall so all things considered I was pretty lucky there)
Scuffs on the skirts and some gutter rash on the rims
Chip in the front bar (took it in to get the immobiliser installed just after I had bought, painted and fitted the bar and the muppets at Vans Audio in Lismore hit the gutter on the way into the installation bay :x )
Several small dents and scuffs here and there as you would expect from a 20 year old car
One of the headlights has been scorched from hot coolant due to mechanics not replacing the radiator cap properly
The center console that fits around the head unit has become brittle and cracked, it will need to be replaced but in the meantime i'll glue it up and it should look okay.
When I drove it last there was a noise coming from the front left wheel which wasn't there before it went off the road. My guess is either a wheel bearing or a rusty brake disk, wouldnt be major anyway, just the sort of thing that happens when a car sits for an extended period of time.
Rear bushes need doing, I have them sitting there and will include them with the car.
It doesn't have a RWC and will need a blue slip. I don't see why it shouldn't pass, it has zero rust and the car was rego'd in NSW after the performance work was done to it.
I can't seem to find my receipts for the work but it was all done by Total mechanical in Lismore in 2010/11. I'm sure if you called them up and talked to them they would remember as they wouldn't get too many FTO's through there for that type of work. I also had it dyno'd when they tuned in the piggyback ECU and from memory it was running about 220HP at 6LB of boost, also something they may have in their records as it's something that has also been lost in my various moves since the work was done.

I've posted some pictures from my other account below (Moderators - I originally made a new account as I was not able to remember the password to my account or my attached email to have a new password sent, but have since remembered it and had my login password changed. I'm not sure if there's any way you can consolidate accounts but I am happy to manage the 2 if it isn't a problem for you guys).

I am really hoping for a quick sale on this one as it is taking up much needed space and has become a hassle to move around with me. It's a beautiful car and much love, money, time and effort has gone into it - never fails to turn heads and since having it turbo'd, the typical "ricer" stigma which used to get thrown at me a lot has duly subsided. Part of me would like to hold onto this car forever but other things are taking priority in my life at this point in time - i'll probably regret it as soon as I see it driving away but that's life! The car is at a point where it needs some TLC but it is bascially a 90% finished project for someone, the $3000 I am asking doesn't even cover half the cost of the engine work alone, so whoever ends up purchasing will be getting a steal!

PM me for further details or if you are interested. Cheers :o

Brilliant. Solar Plex, you now have permission to post. If you still want to and/or the car is still for sale you may now re-edit your post with all details.

However you must post pics lol

Hey just noticed the replies to this.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but the car is still for sale (I have put literally no effort into selling it  ).

It's sitting up on blocks in my carport, looking a bit worse for wear but nothing a good clean won't fix, and still a worthy project car for someone willing to put a grand or 2 into it to get it back on the road.

Let me know if anyone is interested :pirat:

Gee I wouldn't really know a price to be perfectly honest.

I had a fair bit on it when I was trying to sell it originally but now I am more open to negotiating a pretty low price and/or a trade for a road bike.

As you can see from the photos it's pretty clean. The front bar needs to be mounted properly and the front left and right quarter panels need a bit of work. The bodykit is a bit rough around the edges (especially the side skirts) and the car just need a general tidy up. It would be more than a great start to a good project car for someone, the motor has only just been run in and there has been a ton of money poured into it (forged bigger bore pistons, uprated injectors out of a wrx, piggyback ecu (greddy blue), custom turbo and intercooler pipework, massive high flow apexi exhaust, new exedy sports tuff clutch, new lifters/timing belt, etc).

So throw me a price you would be willing to pay and we could go from there :P

Bump for an old thread. The old rig is still sitting in the carport untouched. In answer to the above question, I couldn't give you a definitive answer though I remember it being around the 220HP area with 6LBS of boost. I did have the dyno sheet somewhere but it's been lost somewhere along the way. All the mechanical work was done at Total Mechanical in Lismore, NSW and it was dyno'd there as well.

I really just need her gone now as i've got other commitments and she is taking up much needed space.

Throw me some offers guys, i'm prepared to go pretty low. :)
