Pre-facelift T's Factory

Post by xj265 »

I managed to get hold of Mel's old damaged 'custom' bumper which she got from DMD and repaired it

Here's what the bumper used to look:

This is what it looks like atm:

(Headlights are pretty dull atm and bonnet is not aligned properly either  )

I fixed up the cracks and also blended the DC lip in and filled in the mitsi logo, unfortunately doesn't quite fit right on the drivers side, so will have to work out something there but overall pretty happy with it

must add a big thanks to tippin and dstocks :D

It didn't want to line up properly but it did eventually. However the bumper was still out by about half a cm or so... :|

Not to sure how that can be fixed?

I don't think there is anywhere here in Aus for pre facelift versions but there is Dwayne's facelift T's factory

The DC lip is still available here in Aus though, through UAS or just jap I believe:

$300 just for the DC lip  I would rather pay another $200 and get the full bar from Dstocks  .

I realised what I done wrong now lol The bumper came with some brackets so I used them but of course they didn't fit with my FTO

Sits about 12cm of the ground, so still legal not so practical... :?

Looks very good man. Job well done.

Very nice! I think that sideskirt would look great if the line on top of the vent hole was blended to the fender, or at least made to appear blended :thumright:

The height of the front bar matches with the sideskirts very well!
