Wasn't sure where else to post but keys stuck in ignition..

You can start the car, but you can't pull it out? Take the plastic off from around the steering wheel (4 phillips head screws in the piece. You should see a small white plastic box near the ignition barrel, take it off (one screw I think) and then broken bits of plastic should fall out. You should be able to take the key out, then just screw everything back together. If that doesn't work, the problem might be the automatic gear knob button getting stuck.

Can still turn the car on and off ( to acc not lock) I'll give it a shot

is it auto?

if so, it might be because your not fully in 'park'

happened to me once

Yea it's auto, it's all the way in park on the shift bit...

I turned the car on went into neutral and then went back into 'P', turned the car off and then the key came out ;)

Having extreme difficulty getting this plastic around the steering wheel off -.-

The too and bottom half of the steering cover was joined together by a plastic pole thing that wouldn't come undone so now I have a very small hole in the too part... Carbon fibre wrap anyone
