Yokohama AD08

Post by vipfto »

Just bought me set of these 225/40R18 will be fitting up to my spare ANZ 18x8.5 rims this weekend

Look awesome and expect them to be much sticker than my current KU36's (which I have found fairly impressive for the $ value)

These AD08's cost a packet though and wont last long so only testing with spirited hills run this week then will put other rims back on and save these for track days only 8)

Will post up pics and review for anyone interested next week ;)

They look and sound like a good set, now just need to get your feed back on then.
The revues say that they take about 1 second off per lap.

They look a little bit like the Hankook RS2s in tread pattern. Keen to see how they go!

THIS. Yoko's are great tyres but just too damn expensive in OZ.

Well after a spirited run this weekend all I can say is these things sh*t all over the KU36's

Response and sheer grip is fanatastic and they perform better when cold not taking as long to get heat in them either.

Not sure on wet conditions but I dare say the Kumhos would be better but also sure life span will be less than KU36 too

Niice, these tyres are awesome. Well worth the money if you ask me.

Where did you get them from and for how much?

I got a quote for the exact same size for around $265 each delivered to your door from tirerack.com a few months ago.
