Just went for a test drive, apart from the hideous wheel alignment after changing all the bushes lol, it goes like the clappers 8)

Gave it the obligatory smoke 'em up to bed the clutch in! Gearbox feels crisp & tight. Will have to remember to give it a 1000kms bed in oil change too.

Just have a few small things to finish off, reverse light sensor didn't want to be plugged into, and the gear stick boot is far from a good fit.. also got a horn contact plate issue to sort, but apart from that, very pleased. The misses is even more chuffed.

Well, its not a job i would want to take on, one man, one weekend. It's taken me 3 full days & the better part of 3 afternoons this week to do it. And after doing all the up under pedal stuff, I think I've slipped a disc

So, in summary, those of you who wanted me to do your manual conversions - :thebird:

What was the hardest part?
I assume taking the gearbox in/out was the easy part?

For me yes, gearbox in & out is the easy part

Faffing around on the inside is what pissed me off.

What's with you parrots lately.
First Rob, now Craig.

And yeah, when I did manual conversion on my wagon, I made my neck so much worse, awesome feeling when suddenly you can't move.

Got her all wheel aligned up today, drives like a treat now 8)

Highly recommend the boys at Jaxx Blacktown for your wheel alignment needs. Happy to put the settings in I requested.

LOL. For the misses, completely straight on both toes, just had the rear camber set to -1.25 degrees so's to match the front camber (which was governed by the new offset lower control arm bushes)
