)Ok so about my car..I purchased it APRIL last year (Thereabouts) and it cost me $13,000 from Carsales.
I bought it off a young japanese fellow who let me test drive it...it was the best thing i have ever driven.
So knowing nothing about cars i got it. Dad warned me about an oil leak but i didn't care this car tickled all my fancies.
Car as i bought it came like this.....
-Tipronic 4 speed with 118,xxx km's on the speedo.
-Aftermarket SUB, Speakers and Head unit.
-Cracked Stereo Surround (Didn't know it was cracked because he wrapped it in carbon fibre book wrap looking stuff..Looked good until i decided to take it off....)
-Foggy Headlights (Dad said i would never be able to get them clear
PROVED HIM WRONG haha)-Full veilside II Bodykit with rx7 veilside spoiler
-Ferrari Passion Red paint job
-The only thing he said i needed to do was to replace/machine 1 rotor as it shuddered as you break..
-Quad Tip sports exhaust with straight through piping (no resonators)
-Scissor Doors
-6,000k HID's
-Shiny Alloy Rims 17"
Ok so that's how i bought my car...geez it was shiny...geez it roared..
Modifications i have done since then...
(LETS START WITH THE EXHAUST AY)
-Got defected for sound so stuffed chicken wire in stock catback and installed....still was blowing 100DB on test..(initially was blowing 111), so then got 2 resonators put on it with stock muffler and was only just blowing 89db-90db on it...so got that defect passed.
-Took 1 resonator off and put quad tip sports exhaust back on.
-Took 2nd resonator off...(I missed the sound.)
-Bought hurricane Headers and a highflow cat converter (yet to install will update when i get them done)
So yay my exhaust is practically complete.
Now lets look at engine.
-That oil leak my dad was worried about....when i got defected they took my car over the pits and got me for as much stuff as they could. (Loose front left ball joint/broken lower engine mount/battery unsecured/oil leak)
-So i had to get the car fixxed...the above labor ended up costing me 3 grand which included a new battery and the cam shaft leak to be fixed.
-I got an Apollo CAI system for the car and custom made a blue alloy pipe to fit around my new battery.
-I bought a Manual Conversion (From Escapingfates FTO (WRITE OFF
..)) (Haven't put in yet but will do as soon as i get back from WA)-Bought an AC pump off DSTOCKS so my ac could me bled and fixed. ($460 with me supplying the pump...)
-Replaced Alternator as it was dead..
Ok so that's pretty much the engine done..
Wheels and breaks... etc
-Groovy Baby rotars and european breakpads replaced on the front wheels.
-New tyres on the front..front ones put on back. (Only replacement i have done since owning the car :/)
-Have new tyres all round going on next week
-painted break calipers blue
Ok now for some Styling...
EXTERIOR
-Replaced the whole Veilside II kit with DSTOCKS complete custom kit (got it painted to match rest of car...derpa)
-Took spoiler off and got boot whole filled
-Installed Blue under car LED's under sideskirts.
-10,000k HID headlights
-Shinied up headlights
-Replaced passenger tail light
-Left door resprayed from dickhead opening his door into me..
-Scissor door mechanism adjusted
-Boot panelbeated because of dickhead hitting me while i was parked in a carpark...
-5% tint on rear and side windows.
-AB Bonnet off carmate purchased ( dad is picking it up this week)
INTERIOR
-Stereo Surround replaced
-Blue feet interior lights
-Dash display blue lights
-Isolate switches for all my blue lights
-Kenwood double Din DVD unit
-Option Audio 1500W Sub taking up 1/3 of my boot space.(had to take out backseats and rear speakers to slide it past..)
-Viper 5902 Alarm Purchased...got it half price because i purchased from US. (Will install when i get home from WA(Friggen Deployments...
))Hmm so that's all i can think of at the moment.
Anyone have any suggestions of what i can add...besides pictures.
I'll add pictures when i get back from WA.
Things on my TODO list:
-Buy Haltech piggyback ECU and get installed and tuned.
I think that's it...lol
What else can i do besides turbo? :/
BTW It's now done 139,xxx Km's haha
