I know most of you have not gone the mivec route but do you have any input on chamging the mivec lobe on the camshafts? I was keeping the standard low profile & regrinding the mivec lobe to a race turbo profile

If you want more from Mivec, then start by buying blanks. Regrinding existing cams will get you nowhere, in fact you'll probably lose lift.

Yea.... thats the point Bennoz ;)
As that will reduce valve overlap and loss of boost through the valve overlap

Oh you talking about boosting.. then I'd bin the Mivec cams completely! The Mivec lobes aint gonna be broad enough for decent duration on the inlet.

Again, get some 6A12 blanks & put something like one of the HKS 6A13 grinds on.

yea standard lobe seems to give good spool with my VF35 which is a quick spooling turbo as it is. and then was thinking mivec loves as agressive as I can get. will then give me drivability with non mivec lobes and power from mivec's under boost.
