FTO 95 GPX tip NSW- $5500
So with no license theres no point letting me FTO sit around going to waste, going to buy something more sensible [sigh] when i get my license back so in the meantime:

- 280xxx km on the chassis but only 85xxx km on the engine
- i spent ages trying to do a good ad for it on ebay
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mitsubishi-F ... 697wt_1185
- any questions you can pm me or my number is on the ad

Hey astron got that issue sorted it was just the power steering fluid so all better. probably first thing you wouldve checked though.
Yeah Taz sarp has been texting me, seems pretty keen, thanks for that
and AJ it was a 6 month minimum suspension but will probably drag out to 9 or 12

Ah, didn't see that one.
Well, I'm not your mother so I'll just say that it's tough luck and I hope it goes quickly for you (the ban).

Re: FTO 95 GPX tip NSW- $5500
So ive heard from sarp that this car turned out to be a hidden horror.
Suspension is leaking, chassis is rusting, and a few other things you can tell by apparantly looking under the car. Has been quoted 2000 for repairs atleast, not sure about his prices though.
I just picked up a set of KYB excel g front shocks to last me till i line my pockets and go all out for 210ea, and im not sure how much would be involved with de-rusting a complete chassis
Guess this is just a reminder that its a real good idea to get the car up on a hoist and properly inspected by a pro to ensure that you dont run into these problems, as im sure the car looked and drove fine without further looking. Obviously replacing shocks can be done at home without too much hassle, but what about chassis rust? Is there any possible way to do this without paying someone else $45-60 an hour to do it for you? I doubt it but hey you never know Just trying to save sarp an extra few $$ from this unfortunate event

If its in the rear end past the axles who cares, just spray some fish oil.

Re: FTO 95 GPX tip NSW- $5500
First time I bought the car, car had no mirror, AC was not working and djjones told me yeah they need little work.He stopped working abot his car because he lost his license therefore selling it for cheaper. OK that's fine but he could not even mount engine properly. What I'm sad about is taz and few other fellas told me to get car in ftoaustralia club which turned into a nightmare to me. Cause the person who inspected my car(very close person to taz)told me that I have bought a shitbox. Even the first bue fto we looked with taz would be better than this one. and my family is having problems right now can't ask my dad to give me money to repair a car which i have bought it for 5.5k
Yeah the car has been failed on
Body&Chasis(he advertised as perfct condition)
Steering&Suspension
Wheels&Tyres
Engines&Drivelines
Any help&advice would be appreciated. Thanks
