Are struts model specific?

Post by its_the_driver »

How is everybody this evening?
Good I hope :)
I have a question, Are FTO stock struts model specific?
Can you fit Lancer, Mirage etc?
Just wondering because I have no struts and needs to get my car rolling so work can begin!!
Coil-overs later, for now while mechanicals, bodywork etc just put cheapo's in.....
Any help is much appreciated.
:)

Yeah I know Paul at Imlachs.
I just wanted to know if I could use lancer struts to move it around.
This wont be my finished suspension. Just to get it off the car stands and on some wheels so i can send it to the fabricator.
