Fillet of chicken half cooked in tandoor and finished in a rich sauce of tomato, butter and cream.

Chicken cooked with a puree of English spinach and fresh home ground spices.

Lamb Madras (Hot)
Diced lamb in rich spicy sauce, cooked with capsicum and coconut milk.

Basmati Rice

Desserts

Mango + Pistachio Kulfi (Homemade ice cream)

Jugs of soft drink included.

All of the above is at a fixed cost of $25 per head. Please order alcohol at the bar so we don't have to figure who has to pay extra for their drinks later on.

Address:

Castle Taj Indian Restaurant
Shop 12, 3-9 Terminus Street, Castle Hill.

It's directly behind Castle Mall (Castle Mall is across the road from Castle Towers). There's underground parking, there are 2 ramps, 1 on either side of the building. One is for entry, one is for exit, it's clearly marked but when you drive past, drive slowly so you don't miss the driveway.

You can't see the restaurant from the street, it's inside a small building with a bunch of other restaurants.

Please bring cash as it costs us for each card transaction.

As per past conversations, if you wanna do it at my parents place this time, I'm happy to set up a good deal ;)

Not just trying to make money by getting people to go there, just that it was brought up before so thought I'd mention it, let me know if you're still interested in the idea by the odd chance.

Well, I can set up a very generous offer, SPO Club represent!!

A set menu of $25 per head, all you can eat:

- Entrees
- 4 or 5 types of main dishes; Unlimited quantities of this so as long as you can eat, the dishes will keep coming out
- Rice
- Various types of Naan bread
- Dessert
- Unlimited jugs of soft drink

Normally the banquets are $35.90 per person with seafood and don't include soft drinks, so $25 is actually very reasonable, and the same price I give to any of my closest friends which come in, so this is the best I can do. :)

By the way, Ben and Kaz have been here so they'll confirm, the food isn't all spicy for those worried about eating Indian. Majority of the dishes are mild and medium - Actually look on the website, it's even got a 'spice guide' rating for each dish - http://castletaj.com.au

I'm not trying to sell it lol, just giving info which makes it clear enough for people to make a decision. If people aren't keen on Indian cuisine and it causes less people to rock up, then we can just do it somewhere else, let me know ;)
