Hi all thought id show off my 1998 Version R fto! I have had the car for around 9 years its still a work in progress but I will show you what I have done so far

It does'nt come out much done 25 000kms in 9 years...yeah i didnt want something that screamed look at me i want to be booked.

Looks very professional man. I am impressed.

yeah i took my time with it.. took me 2 years to install the stereo the 2 moulds in the boot took over 130 hours of sanding i also rigged up a electric glass window to hide the nos bottle it took me 24 hours to make the up and down pipes im very fussy with this car.

Very nice build, I like that you've kept the body clean as well.

So the big question, what sort of power is it putting out?

it hasnt been for a power run as yet.. the turbo ran out of puff at 12 psi. before i started turboing it i wasnt going to build the engine i was just going to run small turbo and low boost...but now ive build it the turbo is way too small so theres no point flogging a dead race horse so to speak. im making a fuel surge tank up atm with twin 044's then a custom plenum with 90mm throttle body then ill put the big turbo and external gate was thing a gtx 3076r. atm it puts out 227hp atw @ 12psi mivec isnt turned on and cams arnt dilled in running at a very say tune atm. but all in all is running very sweet

Personally - finish the engine work, take the contents of the boot out, chuck on some semi's and let her do what she was born and then bred to do

I love it,

One thing, personally i wouldve sold your motor to someone like me as it has such a fresh bottom end (before you did anything)
and rebuilt an older engine!

Would've saved a bit of coin as well
