Ill even pay $200 if i strip all the cam covers, radiator, power steering pump, wheel and shock out of the way if you can just take the belt and pump out and put the replacements in.

Really, I always thought replacing your timing belt was a PITA, and expensive if you screw it up?

It certainly is, maybe i should just sell the car and neglect to tell them that its leaking, would be a lot easier.

Whenever your keen, we have a car we can borrow, could even drop it at your house if you want. Its still driveable, mainly dumps its water when it gets turned off, i know its leaking water into the shaft as its become noisy.

I'll have a chat to the misses tomorrow as we are so busy leading up to Xmas, I am still only half way through building my deck, not to mention the other 10,000 things I have to do.
You're 100% it's the water pump?

Its losing water, and as soon as i park it up it dumps water on the ground at the timing belt cover side. No leaky heater core or radiator pipes.
Had to top it up 2 litres the other day so she could drive it to work.
If you could talk to her that'd be great $350, i could even drop it off this saturday.

Go & grab a breather radiator cap - same as the one that's on there, but not pressurised. You'll get a whole bunch more kms out of it before needing to top up the water again if you don't pressurise the system.

Will it overheat though because it has a lower boiling point?
