35w - 55w hid

Post by Kablaamo »

So is there a huge difference between 35w and 55w hid, is the 55w over kill? 35w more than enough?

I am running 35s in my low beams and 55s in my fog lights. I went with this setup after reading about a guy (not in an FTO) that complained that his 55s in his low beams put out too much light and he had to adjust them to point ridiculously low so as not to piss off oncoming traffic.

I find the 35s great but I don't think that 55s would be an issue in the FTO.
Me? Bitter? f**k no. I think it's hilarious.

I have 55w in my low beam (dipped beam). Hell of allot better than the standard stuff that was there, but the 35w would be fine as well. Check of www.ftoworks.com. Thats where i got mine from, they can get all the lights there that just plug and play :thumright:
