Lmao, looked at a few of the cars in the links posted...some of the people selling them can talk some serious sh*t!
Some of them wanted 4-5k more than what the car was worth, some were trying to make the car sound like it was a 9sec monster with all the 'classic chrome tip performance exhaust setup' and the 'professional motul oil' used.
Saw one where the guy couldnt even spell ralliart right and he mentioned it several times...

Nothing big NO1, just cai/exhaust/headers and clutch on a GPR - not doing anything more till the 4g in its a waste of money.
There was a quite a few that i saw that were overpriced and sounded like the owner just talked sh*t to try and jazz up the car.
The ones on ebay and gumtree especially, saw a 95 gpx i think it was with basically nothing done to it, in average condition for 10k i think it was...

My advice = save up and get one of the elders cars like stocks/aj's etc who are keen to sell up it seems for the right price. They are guaranteed to fly (off the handle) and be reasonably priced(ish)

AJ's car is a no go'er for P platers seeing it's turbo, unless you have a oversea licence?
As mentioned, start with the basic and play from there 8)

Or you are 25yrs+. No restrictions on high powered vehicles here in QLD if you are 25+, not sure about the other states.

NSW law is tight. From what i understand for P platers forbids engine mods, turbos and certain engine size(V8's).
I could be wrong :?

It is more to do with power to weight when it comes to V8's and things like that.
I'm not going to put a list up but if you go onto the RTA web site you can find all the info there.
This link is a small list of cars you can't drive
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/dow ... s_list.pdf
And another :D .
http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/geared/licenc ... ivers.html

That should get you started  .
