Extractors?

Havent seen any threads or even posts for that matter about extractors. Was thinking about getting them for my GPX. Thoughts guys?

I've got em,
They are good.
Little power loss while engine is cold,
More grunt and pull in low ranges when the engine warms up :)
Sounds great :D
Two options really, hurricane or rpw.
Use the search bar and you will find the details.

They seem to be worth it as they apparently increase both performance and fuel economy, but im a bit "uneducated" when it comes to car parts. Any specific brands or types I should be looking for? :oops:

$450-600 I think in parts (new),
Couple hundred for installation

couple of hundred for installation? not a complicated task to put new ones in, just give someone here a few cases to do one arvo :lol:

Not complicated, just a PITA (rusted bolts, tight spaces)

Even though I am not usually a fan of crude humor, I must applaud you on that one Bennoz ;)


To the OP, don't forget you'll need to adjust the fuel pressure via a FPR after fitting extractors

As you may be aware I dont know all that much about mechanics and stuff as of yet, didnt know that. Will look into it, thanks. :D

I imagine the front set of extractors could be made extremely easy by taking the radiator out but the rear ones would not be fun.
