firstly do u want power or looks?

you can get top of the line exhaust for 2 grand and it is the fastest and easiest way to gain power, along with a filter of course.

well i dont mine a little look like a front lip spoiler

as for the exhaust some say they don't help much with power? and i don like too much noise so if i got a resonator then wouldn't it cut back the power and a waste of money purchasing the exhaust?

hks SPF=8hp(avg) tested in UK conditions
ultra quiet exhaust? what's dat, all aftermarket exhaust are pretty loud! mayb just by a nice but cheap muffler.

As for port and polishing-"The engine production process is not perfect. Imperfections in the casting of parts leads to rough surfaces. A port usually involves remove/changing the size/shape of an opening. A polish smoothens the surface. The overall combination flows more than stock. Thus yielding better power."

from what i remember port and polishing is quiet expensive, around 1500 but he has a smaller car and output around 15hp gained.
anyone else can correct me as dis is from the top of my head and only a swift gti.

as for mods u wont be left with much after port and polish+Fliter

HKS super dragger exhaust. and dat 2000!

but i rekon u should either do bodykit or rims or power. each time.
whereas if u want a bit of power abit of looks den it gets really expensive.

mayb save up later for retrim or sumthing like dat.

For performance mods, 2Gs will be a waste of time and money if yo do not intend to modify the exhaust... exhaust is the most basic mod one can do to ANY car, apart from the air filter... if you want an ultra quiet exhaust, stick to the factory job.

Remember, the more spent exhaust gases can escape, the easier it'll be for the engine to make more power as there is less restriction.

Sorry for the thread hijack... but while your talking about exhasts... is the HKS really that good? has that got the greatest increase over other aftermaket Exhausts... and as for loudness... is it legal without a resinator??
