Newbie :)

Post by mikeb93 »

Hey guys!

Foremost, I recently purchased a bit of a 'fix-me-up' Silver 96GPX Mivec and I absolutely love it. I used to race them back when Gran Turismo 2 was all the rage on my playstation.

Now as stupid as it is, I've had an FTOAustralia sticker on my passenger side window since before I bought it (Oct'11), but never took to the time to actually visit haha.

I've just been reading through some of the different threads and have already begun fixing little bits and pieces up on my car. Plenty of people on here with similar problems to me actually so it's been a big help.

Anyway I'm looking forward to chatting to a few people who love their FTO just as much as me.

Cheers, Mike

Seeing as it already had the club decals on it I'm assuming someone here before me owned it.

Anyway of finding some out some history on my car during its time on here?

It may have been.

I've driven past you once of twice actually (very nice car you have!).

But just 500m up the road from me there's another silver GPX like mine so maybe It was his.

Mines not going anywhere fast right now. It has some major engine oil leaks and I dare say the engine itself is due for retirement. Alas I returned from Dapto last weekend with a fresh motor plus a whole 95Gpx with a little frot and back damage. Has all sorts of goodies in it. Including a MIVEC controller! :D

If anyone's looking for some bits and pieces I'll try my best to help out.
