r spec mivec controller issue ( need a little help)

Post by gavo's mivec »

ok so i have the rspec mivec controller and it was a plug and play harness
the only issue i have is that when i turn the car off then on again it resets its self. and the second issue is that it is reading for a 4 cylender car so the revs are showing higher than they are.
i printed of the info sheet on the controller telling you all the functions but it doesnt seem to change onto the cylender settings.
i can get it to go to the clock, alarm mivec points, rpm limit, stopwatch. anyone any ideas
cheers guys
gavo

It's a pain to set, I used to have one.
Mine used to reset if the battery was off but not just after turning the power off.

Some instructions here: http://www.mitsubishi-fto.org/parts/ele ... mvc85x.htm
