how long should this light stay lit after you start up the car's ignition? my car in particular are coming up with this 2 lights about 3.5 seconds after starting up the car... is this acceptable or should i be concerned??
...and what's the purpose of the exhaust warning light anyway? exhaust temp??

The engine warning light is the orange one up the top left.
The exhaust warning light is the red one down the bottom left.
Currently my exhaust warning light is pretty much on all the time (except sometimes when I'm over 2,500-3,000 revs).
I've been told that this is probably caused by running too rich and it could damage my cat (like I really care about that!).
I'm planning to do an ECU reset to see if this will change things at all, if not I plan to get it serviced somewhere (if I can find a place that seems to know anything about it).
