Not a fan myself, just the way its too obvious its a strip sitting there - maybe if it was one piece with the bonnet or something.
Ive always wondered what itd look like if a custom bonnet was made to come down more/modify the fender so you can stick in some good looking lights, maybe something like the new lancer lights... Im sure with enough money itd be easy enough.

I don't like eyelids myself but they blend in the ends of your LED's on the bottom half of your lights.
So....
They look good on your car......

Here you go, one with the bonnet, just try to ignore the front bumper....
but on topic, I love the gas struts!!

nah that looks horrible, im talking about the bonnet to match the lights, not just overhang them
So, put in the lancer lights, then work panels around them

I followed Vectose Mounting points which you can find here
http://ftoaustralia.com/v3/viewtopic.ph ... bonnet+gas instead of drilling into the actual car and using blind rivets which would be better (what bennoz did
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=15644&start=1080) but this method was just easier going with stock holes and drilling into the strut mount itself.
and you can just get the struts of ebay

The top of the slots should be at the front I believe.
Edit: It seems that apparently they can go either way depending. Go off the manufacturer's recommendation. There should be a sticker somewhere.

Just wait for Vectose to roll through here.. 99% sure he said one of dstocks' was the wrong way and it was supposed to be top of the slot to the front

I never had a look at dstocks' rotors, I believe he was telling us that his rotors are identical on each side.
