My Red FTO GPX 95'

Post by clif »

Upgrades so far:

18inch rims
replaced engine
cat back exhaust
lowered the front only, pedders springs
new aircon unit
retint the windows
dvd unit with 7inch screen

My aim is to keep it neat and clean, I really like the look of it and dont want to change anything like bumpers and spoilers.

Future:

Looking to have a respray done within this year to tidy it right up.

Then reupholster the seats front and rear, all black and red piping.

Yes this is a daily driver :) lol just love it!

looks nice!

IMO would look so good with no spoiler and a Nakaya-Tune style front lip

I get around in the fto a bit, mainly on weekends or whenever I get a chance to fang it lol.

Hey looking to do the headlight bulbs, did the high beam ones and want to do the low beams, what model are they?

Too, anyone done the led change to the dash lights?
I only want the white leds to brighten it up a bit, are they just the wedge type?

Yup, the multi spoke look farkin fantastic on these fto's!
I got mine from slacks creek in moss st, that sort of pimp style wheel N tyre shop thats next door to toyworld and opposite jax.

Cost only $1500 for wheels and tyres which is not too bad for 18's.

Photo shoot lol, thats out near the gateway and the old airport area, its pretty dead on sunday, no freakin cars anywhere
so great for photos in the middle of the road

These are the type you need: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10PCS-T5-Gau ... 0625200828

I have bought some and will be testing them out when they arrive.

I think they are called neo wedges (T5).

Further experimentation tells me that you can probably get away with normal T5 wedges in the old bulb sockets. The glass bulb comes out with some careful encouragement, then it looks like a T5 wedge will fit, at least for the main bulbs. The ones I linked to are a bit too focused, something like this or this might be better, I am still experimenting.
