Found my clutch slave cylinder was leaking fluid from it's seal. The rubber boot was holding all the fluid under pressure, when I touched the boot the fluid came flying out like a water pistol.
Bought a new slave today, fitted it and bled the system.
The new slave had to come from Adelaide, same day, on a bus

Today I designed, built and installed a custom ally pod air box.
It took me all day and into the night, bloody mossies
I did measure and design, but I had to modify everything I made as I went too.
I still have to line the box, probably with some insersion rubber matting that I have in the shed.
I also still have to sand the edges of the top a bit moar
Don't know if I will paint it red or leave it silver yet?

Nice job!
I'm not sure on the painting... Looks nice in silver, and it may be too much red?

      Thanks Dwayne
silverGPX wrote:he put up the dimensions to make your own lol
Those dimensions are just my first estimates, I had to do quite a bit of modding to get it to fit ;) + I didn't post up all the other pieces dimensions + The lid was designed with a bit of paper folded up to the shape/size, on the car, then I traced around the paper.

BTW...Thanks for all the great comments, I'm so chuffed :P
Actually I feel that I need to have another go at making the top, it's just not perfect enough  I would like to make the top out of a bit thicker metal.
It will do for now, at least it covers up my pod....less chance of a defect.

Moar work done to my engine bay today :D
I thought I would try something I have thinking about for a long time now.
I purchased an A4 sheet of chrome vinyl from eBay, photocopied my engine cover, cut out the letters from the copies, taped them to the vinyl, cut them out and stuck them to my engine cover.

      and.....vwooola, chrome lettering 8)
