POSSIBLE CRUZ: Canberra

Post by Robb »

Hello boys and girlz it's Doulbe B here... 8)

I'm just posting to see if you guys would be interested in driving up to Canberra for a cruz and stay over? This is NOT an actual planned cruz, I'm just trying to gauge interest so that I can organise it if everyone is interested.. I would like to make it in early January 2005 during the Summernats (usually around the 7th). The nats go for three days (Fri, Sat and Sun).

As stated above this has not been organised yet, I'm just after parlimenary (spelling?) interest to see if it would be worth organising...

Your input would be greatly appreciated...

Ps. January 2005 is not the only date I am looking at, my main interest at the moment is to see if any Victorian's are willing to drive to Canberra for a cruz

Cheers,

Kev mate, if i may recall with yr driving its gonna take us twice as long to get there!
Obviously the effects of me zooming past him on the way home from the launch when he ALREADY had a 1 hour head start has affected his judgement of time!!

im down to cruise down as long as Kev speeds up a bit!

Hahahhah i think you were really drunk mate, cause it was my gf driving.

As she a school teacher, i don't think i have to explain much about "following the rules" kids

& don't forget she let your female friend go past, by pulling over to the left.

the mrs and I would prolly be up for it. She has family there, and if you don't take the hume, it's a fantastic drive there too :D

(for the vic's that haven't done the drive, it's about 700ks either way, although the pacific/monaro route is a better drive)

dont want to put a dampener on this coz both the misses and i are interested in this, but is there any truth in the tales that summernats is where all the F*ck heads gather, spitting on cars and damaging them.
a friend of my girls took his ute there, won some prize or something but said they were spitting on his car and he found scratches and little dints. was it just a one bad year or always like that??? id love to go but not if i hae to keep a close watch on my car. FTO's cop enough crap let alone at a CHeap wine convention. :S
