Why do you have to buy an entire car just to get a driveshaft? Just go to a CV & Driveshaft shop & get them to make you one up, they're generic Mitsi bits.

If you're a 5spd tip owner, there is a thread in general about where to buy the shafts from also.

How do you know if the driveshaft on this used FTO is going to be any good, or last very long?
If you want a used driveshaft, get one from the wreckers or dstocks or just go new as Bennoz suggested.

Yeah better off with a freshie.

Also, in regards to your beer comment, I had two cases this year, had room for at least another 2-3 in the boot and more in the back seat :cheeky:

Driveshafts cost piss all.... why waste the time buying a 2nder with unknown condition?

The average 4spd tip, 5spd manual and now 5spd tip are easy to get replacement CVs for.
The exception is where Limited slip Diff plays a factor.

Could be a good project, cheap price, all it needs is a new coat of paint, some new lights, rego, service and not to mention a new bumper :)
V-Tec went Braaa-boooom...
