front to rear brake upgrade

Sorry, a bit of an old thread dig up, but for other newbies like myself reading this, the reason you can't put the front brakes on the rear is because the FTO rear caliper has the parking brake mechanism built in, which the front calipers don't have the provision for.

You should be able to fit the Brembos off EVO IV- onto the front with no drama.
Those EVOs have an internal drum park brake and don't use the caliper.

If you want a slight upgrade to the rear, first model Galant VR4 rear calipers apparently have a slightly larger pad area.
